Cake that tastes good should be cherished. Recently the wife and I celebrated our first anniversary and our cake vendor gave us a gift of a free 6" version of our wedding cake. It's as good as it looks.

Chocolate infused churro in Brazil

Chocolate infused churro

The shape of the churro is created with the batter. It's fried and rolled in azucar. It's momentarily placed to cool and then infused with my choice of chocolate, doce de leite, or coco com doce de leite. I choose chocolate, Am handed one for Reais 1. It is pure deliciousness of the mouth.

Road Infrastructure

Infrastructure

Road infrastructure is interesting to me. I believe that it goes to the root of what differentiates one country from another in terms of a country's ability to progress. This photo happens to be one that I took in Rio de Janeiro while touring through the city in a helicopter. While the road network is nothing compared to that in the United States, this is rare site in Latin America where you have beautifully smooth road in between the landscape of the region. Straight lines, the modern world, nestled between nature. A beautiful image for sure with much plenty for me to ponder.
